Your questions, answered

The practical details to help you make an informed decision.

Can I keep using my car with a logbook loan?

Yes. A logbook loan lets you borrow against your vehicle while continuing to use it, subject to your loan agreement. Your vehicle is security for the loan and may be repossessed if you do not repay.

How much can I borrow?

Aspire’s published range is KES 100,000 to KES 3,000,000. Your offer depends on the product, your ability to repay and any security assessment.

What will my loan cost?

The current published calculator uses 4% flat interest per month and a one-time 15% processing fee. Check the personalised offer for every applicable charge, the repayment schedule and the total cost before signing.

How long does an application take?

Aspire advertises decisions within 24 hours. Timing depends on complete documentation, verification and the loan product; it is not a guaranteed disbursement time.

Can I repay my loan early?

Ask Aspire for a settlement statement showing the amount due and any applicable early settlement charges under your agreement.

What documents will I need?

Requirements depend on the product. For a logbook loan, expect your vehicle logbook, identification and income information, plus a valuation. For asset finance, a quotation for the asset. The team confirms the exact list before you apply.

What happens if I miss a repayment?

Contact Aspire before the due date if you expect difficulty. Missing repayments can lead to additional charges, credit bureau reporting and, where the loan is secured, recovery action including repossession under your agreement.

Can self-employed people apply?

Yes. Aspire assesses affordability from your income and commitments, and self-employed applicants are usually asked for bank or M-Pesa records so the team can see how money moves through the business.

Do you charge a fee to apply?

There is no charge to make an enquiry. Any processing fee is confirmed in your personalised offer before you accept it, so you see the full cost of borrowing first.
